You need to have already been attuned to Reiki I or higher.

You do not need to be a Reiki Master, and you do not need to remember every detail from your original training.

Because Reiki Reboot is open to practitioners at Level I and above, we will not be teaching symbols or giving new attunements as part of the curriculum.

Reiki can also vary quite a bit from lineage to lineage, so it may be helpful to dust off your original Reiki manual or notes just in case you want to reference something you were specifically taught.

But honestly?

You do not even need to do that before taking this class.

If you were attuned to Reiki and you are ready to start practicing again, you are in the right place.

That is completely fine.

Different Reiki teachers and lineages do things differently, and Reiki Reboot is not about replacing your original training with a different system.

BUT, if you're here, a big part of your Reiki education was missing, and that's how to build a consistent practice...

Reiki Reboot is about taking the training you already spent time, energy, and money on and figuring out how to make it work FOR YOU now.

We will revisit some common Reiki foundations, but we are also respect the fact that your teacher may have taught you different hand positions, different language, different ways of opening or closing a session, or different techniques entirely.  

The goal is to reconnect with what you were taught, and build a practice that actually fits into your life.

Yes! So much! That is the whole point!

We’ll be practicing both Self-Reiki and Reiki with other people. 

The 28-day challenge is designed to be completely doable as a solo mission, so you do not need a practice partner at home. Some prompts can involve another person if you want them to, but that is always optional.

During the live classes, we’ll also do guided practice exchanges so you can get comfortable both giving and receiving Reiki in a supported setting.

We largely advocate for a hands-off-body approach, especially when working with others, and we’ll talk clearly about touch, boundaries, and appropriate consent before the very first exchange.

The goal is for you to leave feeling much more comfortable actually using Reiki, not just talking about it.

The daily challenges are designed to be done on your own time, at home, and most of them are intentionally small enough to fit into a normal day. 

If you miss one?

That’s between you and Reiki. 😂

There are no challenge police. You do not need to double up, start over, or submit a note explaining your absence. Just pick back up the next day.

The weekly classes, however, do not have make-up sessions. Because so much of the live experience involves group discussion, partner practice, feedback, and Q&A, it simply isn’t something we can recreate one-on-one later.

If you know you’ll need to miss one Thursday, that doesn’t automatically mean you can’t take Reiki Reboot. But you’ll get the most out of the program if you can attend all four live classes.

The challenge is flexible.

The Thursdays are where we show up for each other.

One note about missed classes: I do have the ability to transcribe and summarize our weekly sessions, but because in-person classes like this can get personal, I’m going to leave that decision up to the cohort. If everyone is comfortable with it, we can absolutely create summaries for review.

And definitely lean on the online community too. Ask what you missed, and I’m pretty sure several of us will happily fill you in :)
